Terms of Use.

By using Phreep you agree to these terms.

1. What Phreep is

Phreep is a companion app for screenless fitness bands. It talks to your band over Bluetooth and shows you the data the band streams. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by the manufacturer of any band it connects to.

2. What Phreep is not

Phreep is not a medical device. Recovery scores, heart rate readings, HRV numbers, and any other metric Phreep shows you are for information only. Do not use Phreep to diagnose, treat, or monitor any medical condition. If you have symptoms that concern you, see a medical professional. Phreep cannot detect heart attacks, strokes, abnormal heart rhythms, or any other medical emergency.

3. Use at your own risk

You acknowledge that:

• The app sends commands to your band over Bluetooth. In rare cases, this could cause your band to behave unexpectedly (reboot, lose connection, drain battery faster).
• Phreep is provided "as is" with no warranty of fitness for any particular purpose.
• The developer is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to device damage, data loss, missed training decisions, or injury from following app recommendations.

4. Your data

Everything Phreep collects from your band stays on your phone. See the Privacy Policy for detail.

5. Payment

Phreep is free to install. Some features unlock with a one-time purchase ("Phreep Pro") processed by Google Play. The purchase is tied to your Google account and is honoured across your devices signed into that account.

Refunds: Google Play offers a 48-hour self-service refund from the Play Store app. Beyond 48 hours, email support@phreep.com and we will process a refund for any reasonable reason.

6. Reverse engineering

You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble Phreep itself.

(The band-side protocol Phreep talks to is a separate matter; Phreep's implementation of that protocol was developed through independent analysis and clean-room observation, and the app does not include any manufacturer-owned intellectual property.)

7. Updates and termination

You will receive updates through Google Play. The developer may stop offering Phreep at any time. If that happens, your installed copy continues to function — Phreep has no cloud kill-switch.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes go to the courts of England and Wales, unless local consumer law in your country of residence grants you stronger protection, in which case that law applies.

9. Accepting these terms

Tapping I Agree on the first-run screen confirms you have read and accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Phreep.
